The Most Beautiful Wedding at Middleton Lodge

I think most of my blogs start with “I haven’t blogged in such a while”, but this is no joke now. It’s been a while. It’s been a crazy year. But here we go, with one of my favourites ever. The most beautiful couple - Erin & Liam, at the most stunning venue - Middleton Lodge. This one will definitely go down in my work history. I get people asking me about it all the time, saying how much they have swooned over Erin & Liam; can you blame them?

If you follow me on Instagram you probably have seen quite a few of these photos as I haven’t been able to stop sharing. Hopefully you can see why when viewing this full blog. I think the photos will speak for themselves but honestly, it was an honour to photograph this wedding & I am so happy I met this amazing couple who are both beautiful inside & out!

Rob assisted me on this wedding & we stayed the evening before, due to it being a big drive from us. I got the pleasure to take a few photos of the drinks reception the evening before, but I was however silently suffering with my back (perks of the job) & had a trapped nerve. Not able to keep it hidden, Erin told me one of the guests was an osteopath so insisted I let her take me to the bridal suite for a massage. Something I find hysterical now & definitely a first, having one of my brides watch me get kindly ‘battered’ on her bed by her friends auntie the night before her wedding. It did the trick & meant I was fighting fit for the main event the next day!

As soon as I went into the girls room in the morning, I was in photographers heaven & when Erin took me along to the pool for some photos, we could’ve been in Southern France! I loved the fresh timeless styling complimented perfectly by this country chic venue. Erin’s dress was my favourite dress I have ever photographed by Alena Leena Bridal - truly stunning. Alongside Liam’s tux from Savile Row, how could you go wrong? The whole day was so relaxed & beautiful, it honestly didn't feel like work.

Again, I will let the photos speak for themselves now - happy swooning & I am looking forward to being back at Middleton Lodge in April!

Just to add, I am signing off for Christmas today, but I shall be doing an end of year blog NYE!
