When Michael & Carissa booked me all the way from Australia I instantly knew we would get along, & as you know, I believe it's the number one important thing when choosing your wedding photographer. Now back in England we could finally meet in person & I was even more thrilled when they agreed to meet me at 8.30AM!! Why, you might ask? The light is best either early in the morning or early evening but obviously this isn't suitable for most people so it's very rare I can shoot at these times with my couples. This time I thought, if you don't ask you don't get, & we certainly got gorgeous light & lovely weather overlooking the countryside. Again like most couples I photograph, Michael & Carissa were not used to having their photograph taken in this way but my goal is to make my couples almost forget I am there for most of the shoot & just love each other then once I can see they're relaxed in the moment I will ask them to look at me occasionally. Michael & Carissa were very openly relaxed with each other so it was incredibly easy for me! The more you let go, the more natural the images will be! I am now even more excited for their wedding at the wonderful Lyde Court in July.
