Aimee & Paul's Wedding Party in Telford was by far one of my favourites of 2015. They got married in Gibraltar a couple of weeks before with immediate family then they chose to celebrate back at Aimee's parents wonderful home with all their friends & family.
As soon as I arrived I was blown away by the effort that had been made in decorating the house & garden, it was any photographers dream & everywhere I looked I spotted something different. I almost didn't know where to begin! But as it wasn't an actual wedding, I could relax & take my time which was just as well because so much was going on.
There were various games scattered around including hook a duck & a giant bouncy castle slide which everyone got involved in. This was especially funny when certain family members had certainly had a lot to drink! All the decorations had a personal touch & I was particularly impressed with the tea cup chandelier hanging off one of the trees in the garden.
Food was brilliantly spread out throughout the day so nobody was ever hungry (including me). It started with Pork Baps, followed by an Ice-cream van arriving & finally at the end of the night Fish & Chips got delivered & everyone had their own bag with a fizzy drink - (this was a great boost for my journey home!).
Nothing was missed, EVERYONE had fun & there was never a dull moment. I left this wedding full of energy even though I was there for my usual 10 hours - it was very inspiring & gave me lots of ideas for how I would want to have my wedding one day. I think it was perfect.
Aimee & Paul, thank you again for choosing me to photograph this wonderful day.
